Taxi-Yellow Shoes and a Manhattan View

This session is proof that engagement is just one reason to hire a professional photographer. Lillie and Caleb received this session with me as a gift from Lillie’s mother as a commemoration of their recent move to New York City. She wanted them to have portraits to remember this time in their lives, and I was touched to be the one chosen to mark the occasion.

I loved that Lillie chose yellow shoes as a wink to an iconic Manhattan experience. In terms of location, it made sense to choose spots that felt distinctly New York, so we started at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and then moved down to Pulitzer Fountain in front of the Plaza Hotel. We ended on Gapstow Bridge on the south end of Central Park.
