Michelle & Tyler chose to do their engagement session in idyllic New Harmony, Indiana, a historic arts-focused community near their home. Michelle’s edgier black-top-and-dark-jeans look gave me Grease vibes in all the best ways, and for that mood I chose to photograph them at the Atheneum, which features geometric architectural elements that complimented this energy. Their second look, which was a little softer, was perfect for including their darling toddler son for a few shots, as well as some more classically romantic images that were more integrated with nature. And then we finished with their most formal look, with Tyler in a suit and Michelle in a fiery red summer cocktail dress, which went beautifully with New Harmony’s downtown streets.
