Roane & Brandt’s mid-December elopement was blessed with a gorgeous, mild, sunny day. Wanting to keep things intimate, they got ready together, joined by a select few loved ones, and drove over to the State House, less than 10 minutes from their Indianapolis home, to meet their officiant and say their vows under the soaring ceiling. I’ve worked with Brandt for years as his branding photographer, and it was an honor to get to tell this story for him and his beautiful new wife.

Joii & Tyron have been married for 14 years, and they keep finding more to celebrate together. They live life with such evident appreciation that it’s impossible to be in their presence and not feel my spirit lifted— it’s inspiring, to say the very least.

Kirstie and Jared are both graduates of Butler University, so it’s only fitting that we included their French bulldogs (the Butler mascot) in their engagement session on Butler’s campus.We thought rain might force us to reschedule, but miraculously the skies cleared just in time and we got beautiful evening light. After Butler, we headed downtown to Monument Circle for some urban energy.
